Association for Solidarity with the Palestinian People - Intifada
Dear supporters of the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation,
We are of citizens and residents of Israel, members of BOYCOTT! Supporting the Palestinian BDS call from within, who are struggling to end the Israeli occupation and oppression of the Palestinians. We are writing to you in order to support your courageous appeal to Greek musician, Demis Roussos (who is scheduled to hold a concert in Tel Aviv on the 6th of May 20101) to refrain from performing in Israel until it abides by international law, ends the occupation of the Palestinian territory, and stops treating its own Palestinian citizens with institutionalized discrimination.2
Dear Gil,
We are members of an Israeli group called Boycott! which supports the Palestinian unified call for boycott divestment and sanctions(BDS) from Israel. We are appealing to you because of the respect we have for the work you have done for peace which has also inspired others to do the same.

Dear Friends at UC Berkeley SJP,
Two weeks ago news of the vote to divest UC Berkeley from companies that provide military support for the Israeli occupation has reached us here in Israel. Like many who have been working hard to liberate Palestine and restore justice to Palestinians, we were very happy to hear of your decision.
OPEN LETTER
March 30, 2010
Dear Sarah Schulman,
We at BOYCOTT![1] would like to praise you for your important decision to boycott state-run and apartheid-complicit Tel-Aviv University[2] and Ben Gurion University of the Negev[3], who invited you to their "Sex Acher 10" conference in Israel this year. By engaging in the academic institutional boycott of Israel you are helping to raise the oppressed Palestinian voice instead of adopting a "business as usual" attitude towards the Israeli apartheid.
As geographers, faculty, students, and people of conscience, we are profoundly dismayed by IGU’s decision to hold its July 2010 regional conference in Tel Aviv, in violation of the widely endorsed Palestinian civil society call for Boycott, Divestments, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. We are equally troubled by IGU’s response [1] to the open letter issued by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI), which urged the Executive Committee to relocate the upcoming regional conference out of Israel [2].

Dear Friends at SAIA, Students Against Israeli Apartheid - Carleton,
We are a group of Palestinians and Jews, citizens and residents of Israel, who are struggling to end Israeli apartheid and the decades-long occupation and oppression of the Palestinians. We are writing to express our unequivocal support of SAIA's admirable divestment campaign at Carleton University. We will stand by you, as SAIA struggles to insure that the Carleton University pension fund disinvests initially from five companies deeply involved in Israel's subjugation of the Palestinians in the occupied territories, in gross violation of universal human rights and of International Law. Four of these five companies went as far as supplying the crucial means of destruction for the Dec. '08-Jan. '09 Israeli onslaught on Gaza.

Adalah-NY, the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, the US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, Boycott! Supporting the Palestinian BDS Call from Within, and American Jews for a Just Peace call for a boycott of and protests against the performances of the Israel Ballet during their February, 2010 US tour, due to the Israel Ballet’s complicity in whitewashing Israeli apartheid.
A letter to Professor Sigmund Grønmo, Rector of Bergen University
January 31, 2010
Dear Professor Grønmo,
We are a group of Palestinians and Jews, citizens and residents of Israel, who are struggling to end the Israeli occupation and oppression of the Palestinians. We are writing to you in order to support your courageous decision to allow an open debate regarding the possibility of a boycott of Israeli academic institutions. Following PACBI’s Open Letter to your university community, urging you all to boycott the Israeli Academy,[1] we too wish to encourage you to seriously consider responding positively to the Palestinian call for an Academic and Cultural boycott of Israel[2] and implementing their request for a comprehensive academic and cultural boycott of Israeli academic institutions. We fully endorse PACBI’s request that you “declare that Israeli universities cannot be considered normal partners in the pursuit of academic endeavors, so long as they continue to collude in the perpetration of human rights violations and, in some cases, war crimes”.
